Brief Bio:
Alex Staab is a 22-year-old sports writer and broadcaster whose hometown is Germantown Hills, Illinois. Alex currently attends Western Illinois University as a Sports Broadcasting Major.
Back in 1998, Alex was born in an orphanage in Vladimir, Russia. Adopted at eight months old, he was then brought to the United States and his passion for American sports began promptly.
In an interview with Marc Strauss for the Woodford Courier, Alex stated that "instead of pointing down at the field and thinking I want to be one of those guys, I was pointing up to the press box thinking I want to be that guy".
He is a 2012 graduate of St. Mary's Grade School, 2016 graduate of Metamora Township High School, and 2019 graduate of Illinois Central College. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree at Bradley University, majoring in Sports Communication.
He's now been involved in radio, television, and event public address announcing for six and a half years. A number of teams/organizations have accumulated over the years.
